Line Provider Validation Type Code for Carrier claim lines
The purpose of the Provider Validation Type field on the claim is to inform Common Working File (CWF) to perform an edit check to ensure that the provider that was submitted on the Prior Authorization (PA) request is the same provider on the claim.
This field was new in April 2019.
