SECONDARY_TAXONOMY_CODE
This is the secondary taxonomy code for the pharmacy, if applicable. This field allows researchers to better understand the type of pharmacy that dispensed the medication. Pharmacies are not required by NCPDP to specify a secondary dispenser type.
(e.g., 3336C0003X)
This taxonomy code applies to the secondary dispenser type (variable called SECONDARY_DISPENSER_TYPE). For each pharmacy, there is information for up to three taxonomy codes, associated with each of the dispenser types (see PRIMARY_TAXONOMY_CODE and TERTIARY_TAXONOMY_CODE variables).
