TERTIARY_TAXONOMY_CODE
This is the tertiary taxonomy code for the pharmacy, if applicable. This field allows researchers to better understand the type of pharmacy that dispensed the medication. Pharmacies are not required by NCPDP to specify a tertiary dispenser type.
(e.g., 3336C0003X)
This taxonomy code applies to the tertiary dispenser type (variable called TERTIARY_DISPENSER_TYPE). For each pharmacy, there is information for up to three taxonomy codes, associated with each of the dispenser types (see PRIMARY_TAXONOMY_CODE and SECONDARY_TAXONOMY_CODE variables).
